We were invited by the lovely Bea and Michelle at Toronto Area Community Garden to build a small retaining wall to define an area of ground at the rear of the community hall which would make planting and growing easier for all and inject new life into the community garden.
We held a one day workshop which was very generously supported by the Toronto Mens Shed who supplied a BBQ lunch, the community garden members and also many members of the local community interested to learn this new technique. It was a blistering hot day but we still managed to get the wall finished! Such a fabulous collaboration by everyone. Stay tuned to see the beautiful finished render!
